By accessing or using Afterview ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Afterview.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

Afterview provides AI-powered analysis of job interview recordings. The Service includes a web-based dashboard for recording interviews on any platform, automated transcription, and AI-generated feedback on interview performance.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Record interviews without the knowledge and consent of all participants, where required by applicable law.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal interview preparation and improvement.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization.
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse API endpoints.

6. Recording Consent

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding the recording of conversations. Many jurisdictions require the consent of all parties being recorded. Afterview records only your microphone audio (not other participants), but you must still ensure compliance with local laws. We are not liable for your failure to obtain proper consent.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your recordings and transcripts. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service. AI-generated analysis and feedback are provided as part of the Service and may be used by you for personal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated analysis or feedback. Afterview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Data Processing

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Audio recordings are sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI) for transcription and analysis. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
